The Privacy/Extension in Use feature of the Meridian 8314 telephone informs you when someone on another extension telephone picks up the handset. An indicator light comes on and "Extension in Use" appears on the display. The light remains on until the other person hangs up the extension. The Nortel Aastra M8314 has been manufacturer discontinued. The recommended replacement is the M9316. | |
